The Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani affirmed on Wednesday that the government has adopted a balanced policy to keep Iraq away from regional wars and conflicts and has succeeded in preserving its security and stability.

Al-Sudani noted that Iraq is now respected and appreciated by all countries in the region and the world for its role in promoting regional and international stability.

The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani met with sheikhs and dignitaries of Al-Zawalem tribe, along with its academic and social leaders, at the residence of Sheikh Laith Jafat Jiyad Al Shaalan Abu Al-Jun in Al-Muthanna Governorate."
