Armenia’s Public Services Regulatory Commission (PSRC) has revoked the electricity distribution license of the Electric Networks of Armenia (ENA).

Today, the PSRC resumed the discussion—launched on November 13—on revoking ENA’s distribution license.

ENA’s temporary manager, Romanos Petrosyan, had sent letters to the PSRC informing it that ENA’s automated metering system malfunctioned in January 2025, and that since 2018 data from the automated metering systems had been deleted. This was considered grounds for revoking the company’s license.
