On 6 June 2022, EU Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia Toivo Klaar together with a delegation paid a visit to AVİM. Mr. Klaar shared his observations and views on the Armenia-Azerbaijan conflict over the Karabakh region and the recent attempts of the EU to moderate between the parties. During the meeting, AVİM Director Ambassador (R) Alev Kılıç and Senior Analyst Dr. Turgut Kerem Tuncel also expressed their views on these issues. The meeting was valuable and constructive for helping the sides to better comprehend each other’s opinions and visions for the resolution of the conflict in the South Caucasus.
