On 23 November 2021, Center for Eurasian Studies (AVİM) and Tbilisi-based think-tank GeoCase had an online meeting to exchange their views on the recent developments in global and regional politics. The Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to the Republic of Turkey H.E. George Janjgava also participated in the meeting. Ambassador Jangava underlined the necessity of further strengthening Turkish-Georgian bilateral relations both in state and civil society levels. 

At the meeting, AVİM and GeoCase directors and analysts also shared their assessments on situation in the Wider Black Sea region and the South Caucasus.  Agreeing on the idea that rapidly developing political context in the region necessitates Turkish and Georgian think-tanks to have deeper cooperation, AVİM and GeoCase agreed on advancing their joint work in forms of regular AVİM-GeoCase roundtables and public conferences. An agenda and a calendar was set for the realization of this perspective.
