On 20 January 2021, AVİM held an online presentation of the book presentation “Phase Line Attila, The Amphibious Campaign for Cyprus, 1974.” Dr. Edward J. Erickson, the co-author of this book with Dr. Mesut Uyar, discussed the military aspects of the Cyrus Peace Operation. In his presentation, he focused on the planning and the execution of this joint amphibious campaign, which he identifies as a particularly successful operation. Prof. Erickson underlined that the operation in 1974 is an important example to be studied by the contemporary military planners.
