Like the three previous issues, articles on different aspects of the Russia-Ukraine war constitute the core of this issue. As a publication that always stands for peace and stability, we express our disappointment with the continuation of the war. We hope the war ends and tranquility turns back to Europe in no time. In this vein, as we expressed in our cover, our main concern is the possibility of this conflict turning into yet another protracted conflict in our old continent. We hope prudence and political will to prevail and prevent such a result.
In addition to articles dwelling on the Russia-Ukraine war, this issue also includes articles on information security, Kazakhstan-Russia relations in the context of Eurasia, the admission of the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus to the OTS as an observer, European Union and Central Asia, and Russia’s nuclear deterrence policy.
