On Tuesday, President Ilham Aliyev officially approved an agreement on the exemption of visa requirements between Azerbaijan and China, marking a significant milestone in bilateral relations between the two nations.

The agreement, which was concluded following high-level diplomatic engagements between Baku and Beijing in April, allows travel for an ordinary passport holder from both countries without a visa for a designated period.

Implementation details, such as the exact duration of visa-free stays and entry conditions, are expected to be released soon by the relevant authorities in both countries.
