18 MARCH ÇANAKKALE VICTORY AND COMMEMORATION OF MARTYRS DAY On the occasion of 18 March Çanakkale Victory and Commemoration of Martyrs Day, as the staff of AVİM, we commemorate with respect and gratitude the great leader Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, his brothers in arms, our glorious martyrs who lost their lives at Çanakkale, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs personnel, all public employees, and their family members who lost their lives during their assignments abroad as a result of the terror attacks perpetrated by ultranationalist Armenian groups.

WE CONDEMN CHARLIE HEBDO On 6 February 2023, the French 'Charlie Hebdo' magazine published a cartoon with the caption "There is no need to send tanks" about the earthquake disaster that affected 10 provinces in Türkiye. We condemn this act by the French magazine.

ROUNDTABLE AT AVİM WITH MR. TOMAS NIKLASSON, THE EU SPECIAL ENVOY FOR AFGHANISTAN On 7 February 2023, a roundtable discussion with the EU Special Envoy for Afghanistan Mr. Tomas Niklasson and his delegation was held at AVİM. Academics, civil society actors, diplomats, and AVİM analysts took part in the event.

A NEW BOOK FROM AVİM: “THE WITNESSED HISTORY OF THE BAKU-TBILISI-CEYHAN PIPELINE” Assoc. Dr. Halil Yurdakul Yiğitgüden's book titled “Bakü-Tiflis-Ceyhan Boru Hattının Yaşanan Tarihi” (“The Witnessed History of the Baku-Tbilisi-Ceyhan Pipeline”) was published in cooperation with the Center for Eurasian Studies (AVİM) and Terazi Publishing.

TASC TV’S “MYTHS-REALITIES” SERIES Since February 2021, TASC TV has been airing the “Myths-Realities” series. The series, hosted by Ergün Kırlıkovalı, deals with the various aspects of the historical controversy between Turks and Armenians over the 1915 Events. As an example, Episode 22 deals with James Bryce, the infamous British propagandist who played a significant role in producing and disseminating anti-Ottoman Empire and Turcophobic propaganda during the First War War.
