The Assembly of Turkish American Associations (ATAA) is mourning the tragic death of Sevgin Oktay, ATAA former New York region vice president, after a fatal car crash near Poughkeepsie, New York on April 30, 2023. He was 88.

On 28 April 2023, CICA (The Conference on Interaction and Confidence Building Measures in Asia) Secretary General Ambassador Kairat Sarybay paid a visit to AVİM. During the visit, the CICA Secretary General shared his assessments on the global and regional developments, as well as his perspective on the opportunities for cooperation in Asia and Eurasia.
