Despite the January 9 celebrations being ruled unconstitutional, the Bosnian Serb entity, Republika Srpska, again marked the day with a mass parade in Banja Luka.

A few thousands people on Friday gathered in Banja Luka, the Bosnian Serb entity’s administrative centre, to watch a parade celebrating the Day of Republika Srpska.

The holiday honours the day in 1992 when Bosnian Serb leaders declared the foundation of Republika Srpska.
