The Constitutional Court of Bulgaria has opened a case on the results of the elections for the 51st National Assembly. A message on the institution's website states that the case was initiated at the request of 58 MPs of the 50th National Assembly. Referring to the "general and prevailing public opinion", the MPs point out that "the holding of the early elections for people's representatives were accompanied and filled with many and various violations, some of which have the character of crimes."
