Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian confirmed on Wednesday the agreement to form a team of experts with Iraq in various fields, while noting that this aims to develop strategic plans for broader cooperation between the two countries.

Pezeshkian said in a speech during a joint press conference with Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani during his visit to Iraq, which was attended by the correspondent of the Iraqi News Agency (INA): "It is a good opportunity to be on my first visit to Iraq, and I wanted to follow up on the work of the previously concluded agreements and which signed today, which represent a new start for cooperation between the two countries."
