Iraq's First Deputy Speaker of Parliament Mohsen al-Mandalawi affirmed to the head of the Turkmen Front, Mohammed Semaan Kanaan, on Sunday the parliament's interest in coordinating with various societal forces and its commitment to ensuring justice for all segments of the population by enacting laws that guarantee their constitutional rights.

A statement issued by the media office of the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), stated that "the First Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Mohsen Al-Mandalawi, received in his office the head of the Turkmen Front, Muhammad Samaan Kanaan, and the head of the Diyala branch, Osama Ibrahim, to discuss developments on the national scene and the overall situation in the country, in addition to discussing the reality of regions with national and ethnic diversity."
