IRAQ'S PRESIDENT AMEDI STRESSES IMPORTANCE OF STRENGTHENING DIALOGUE AND UNDERSTANDING AMONG POLITICAL FORCES

Iraq's President Nizar Amedi on Tuesday underscored the importance of fostering dialogue and mutual understanding among Iraq’s various political forces.
According to a statement issued by the Presidency’s Media Office and received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), President Amedi met at Al-Salam Palace in Baghdad with Raed Fahmi, Secretary of the Central Committee of the Iraqi Communist Party, and the accompanying delegation.
The statement said the meeting reviewed the latest developments on the domestic and regional fronts, as well as ways to support stability and advance development efforts.
