Iraq's Prime Minister Mohamed Shia al-Sudani affirmed that Iraq urged the Security Council to cease Israel's activities against Palestinians.
The Prime Minister's Media Office said in a statement obtained by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Mohamed Shia Al-Sudani, received the Ambassador of the State of Palestine to Iraq Ahmed Al-Ruwaidi, where Al-Sudani, offered his condolences to the Palestinian Authority, and the general Palestinian people, on the martyrdom of the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, in a treacherous Zionist aggression that targeted the martyr's residence in the Iranian capital, Tehran."
