President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs of the United Kingdom David Cameron on April 24, the Foreign Ministry reported.

The head of state thanked the British side for supporting the initiatives put forward by Turkmenistan within the UN General Assembly. In particular, gratitude was expressed for the support of the Resolution "2025 – International Year of Peace and Trust" recently adopted at the initiative of Turkmenistan.

Discussing trade and economic relations, the interlocutors noted with satisfaction the development of bilateral trade turnover and the fruitful cooperation in the field of trade.
