Ambassador Kubanychbek Omuraliev, the Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) and Dr. Salim M. AlMalik, the Director General of the Islamic World Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ICESCO) held the meeting on 13 June 2024 at the premises of the ICESCO in Rabat, Morocco.

At the meeting, the Secretary General of the OTS and the Director General of the ICESCO discussed the prospective cooperation opportunities between the organizations with the aim to focus on education, science and cultural preservation.

The Parties also signed a Memorandum of Understanding, as well as discussed the possibility of the Roadmap for the implementation of the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between the two Organizations.
