Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan met on Wednesday with Mahmoud al-Mashhadani, speaker of the Council of Representatives of Iraq.
The meeting took place in Ankara, according to Türkiye's Foreign Ministry. Further details were not immediately available.
Earlier, Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan had received Mashhadani at the Justice and Development (AK) Party headquarters in Ankara on Tuesday.
