On May 3, 2016, the Center for Eurasian Studies (AVİM) held a conference titled “An Outlook On Turkish-Armenian Relations” with R. Ambassador Kadri Ecvet Tezcan as the keynote speaker who served as the Turkish Ambassador to Baku, Azerbaijan in the years 1998-2001 and as Deputy Undersecretary of the Department for Multilateral Political Affairs in the Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs from 2008 to 2009.

The conference, in which R. Ambassador Kadri Ecvet Tezcan shared his observations and experience on the history and the political dimensions of Turkish-Armenian relations that he acquired as a diplomat working in the field, forms the third leg of a series of conferences that is being organized by AVİM on the subject of the various aspects of the Turkish-Armenian relations.

The conference on 4 April with R. Ambassador Dr. M. Şükrü Eledağ, and the one on 19 April with Prof. Dr. Seçil Karal Akgün as the speaker formed the first two legs of the conferences on Turkish-Armenian relations.
