Deputy Chairman of the Security Council of Kyrgyzstan Taalatbek Masadykov, together with Special Representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic for Afghanistan, Ambassador-at-Large Avazbek Atakhanov, made working visits to Uzbekistan, the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan, the Islamic Republic of Iran and the United Arab Emirates.

During the visits from April 7 to 20 this year, a number of important meetings and consultations were held with the heads of law enforcement agencies and other government departments of these countries, as well as with international experts.

One of the main goals of the visits was to discuss topical issues of regional security, the development of the situation in Afghanistan, in particular, issues related to potential threats and risks to ensure the national security of the Kyrgyz Republic and regional cooperation.
