Iran as a powerful country in developing electricity networks plans to provide Tajik electricity industry operators with expertise training, an Iranian official said, IRNA reported.

Deputy Minister of Energy for International Affairs Mohammad-Ali Farahnakian told IRNA that Tajikistan and Iran have reached agreement that Tajik electricity specialists travel to Tehran in order to take part in educational courses in this field.

Pointing to a recent visit by Tajikistan’s Minister of the Energy and Water Recourses Daler Juma to Tehran, the Iranian official noted that Mr. Daler Juma also presides Tajik side of the Iran-Tajikistan Joint Economic Commission, who traveled to the Islamic Republic to review expansion of mutual cooperation.
