The Iranian Ambassador to Baku, Mojtaba Demirchilu, expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for providing humanitarian aid to his country.

'Azerbaijan is sending humanitarian aid to Iran for the second time. Taking this opportunity, I would like to thank the government and people of Azerbaijan,' the ambassador told journalists.

The ambassador noted that the first batch of humanitarian aid to Iran came from Azerbaijan, and some countries have expressed their intention to use the territory of the Azerbaijan Republic (AR) to provide humanitarian assistance to the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI).
