IRAQ'S KURDISH REGIONAL GOVERNMENT ARRESTS MEMBERS OF PKK LINKED GROUP

The Kurdish Regional Government (KRG) in Iraq announced Monday that its security units had arrested members of a group affiliated with the PKK terrorist organization ahead of a planned attack.
According to the anti-terror units of the KRG, the terrorists were planning to carry out rocket attacks on Peshmerga forces, public areas, state buildings and dams.
The Security Council of the KRG announced on April 26 that a “dangerous plot” aimed at the region was neutralized and that security forces had confiscated a large number of explosives.
