Iraq's Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani chaired a meeting on Sunday with the committee tasked with lifting the European ban on Iraqi Airways.

“The Prime Minister was briefed on the measures taken by the specialized committee and the efforts to lift the ban and its requirements. These measures include developing the work of Iraqi Airways, automating all its sections, repairing and maintaining aircraft, continuing efforts to develop the capabilities of the company's staff and facilities, and enhancing the level of services provided to passengers, aligning with the status and role of Iraqi Airways as a cultural representation of Iraq,” stated the Media Office of the Prime Minister in a statement, received By The Iraqi News Agency-INA.
