During his official visit to the United States, Iraq's Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met with the family of Kayla Mueller, who was kidnapped by ISIS terrorists in Aleppo, Syria in 2013 while working in humanitarian relief and killed in 2015.

The Prime Minister’s Media Office said in a statement received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA): “The Prime Minister received, on the sidelines of his official visit to the United States of America, the family of American citizen Kayla Mueller, who was kidnapped by ISIS terrorist gangs in the Syrian city of Aleppo in 2013 while she was working in The field of providing humanitarian relief, and was killed in 2015.
