Iraq's Speaker of Parliament, Haybat al-Halbousi, affirmed to the UN Assistant Secretary-General and UNDP Administrator, on Monday, Parliament's support for the government in implementing development projects and strengthening economic reform and sustainable development efforts.

Al-Halbousi received the UN Assistant Secretary-General and UNDP Administrator, Abdullah al-Dardari, and his accompanying delegation, said the Speaker's Media Office in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency - INA.

During the meeting, the statement included that areas of cooperation and ways to support national development priorities were discussed, and the existing partnership between Iraq and the UNDP was emphasized.
