Iraq's Justice Minister Khalid Shawani met on Wednesday with the US Chargé d'Affaires in Baghdad, Harris, to discuss legal and judicial cooperation between the two countries.

The ministry stated in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Justice Minister Khalid Shawani received the US Chargé d'Affaires in Baghdad, Harris, at the ministry headquarters."

The statement continued, "During the meeting, they discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Iraq and the United States of America in the legal and judicial fields."
