Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani confirmed on Sunday that bilateral relations between Iraq and Turkey are witnessing continuous development and progress, reflecting the mutual commitment and interest in continuing cooperation between the two countries.

The Prime Minister's Media Office stated in a press release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) that "Prime Minister Mohammed Shia al-Sudani met with the Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to Iraq, Anil Bora Inan."

"During the meeting, bilateral relations and ways to develop them in various fields were discussed, in order to achieve security and stability in the region and bring mutual benefit to both countries and their neighboring peoples."
