Iraq's Prime Minister Ali Falih Al-Zaidi emphasized, on Tuesday, the continued efforts to combat corruption, pursue those involved in it, and eliminate its root causes.

The Prime Minister’s Media Office stated, in a release received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA), that "Prime Minister Ali Falih Al-Zaidi met today, Tuesday, with the head and members of the Kurdistan Democratic Party (KDP) bloc in the Council of Representatives."

The meeting addressed several issues of mutual concern, primarily the provision of services and the relationship between the federal government and the Kurdistan Regional Government, as well as a discussion on various provisions of the draft federal general budget law for 2027.
