Senior sources in Moldovan Intelligence Services, SIS, told BIRN on Thursday that the General Prosecutor’s Office is preparing a treason case against General Igor Gorgan over allegations that he spied for the Russian military intelligence service, GRU.

The prosecutors asked the SIS to send all the evidence it has gathered over the years about Gorgan to build a case against him.
