Following the official welcoming ceremony for the President of the Republic, who arrived in Tbilisi on an official visit, a private meeting between Presidents Vahagn Khachaturyan and Mikheil Kavelashvili took place, followed by an expanded meeting with the participation of delegations, the Presidential Office of Armenia said in a press release.

During the discussions, the sides reviewed the current dynamics of cooperation within the framework of the Armenia-Georgia strategic partnership and outlined directions for its further development.

Special attention was paid to strengthening economic ties, developing transport and communication links and advancing joint initiatives in tourism, energy, the business environment, investment, as well as educational, cultural and youth programs.
