Türkiye was the European Union's fifth-largest trading partner in goods in the second quarter of 2026, with bilateral trade reaching €52.8 billion, according to Eurostat.

Between April and June, the EU imported €25.5 billion worth of goods from Türkiye and exported €27.3 billion, giving the bloc a trade surplus of €1.8 billion.

Türkiye accounted for 3.6% of EU imports from non-EU countries and 4% of exports to third countries, ranking fifth in both categories.
