
The Center for Eurasian Studies (AVİM) organized a webinar titled “Nasturiler: Misyonerler-İhanetler-İsyanlar” (Nestorians: Missionaries-Betrayals-Revolts)” on 21 June 2022, with Yusuf Dinçel as the speaker.
In the webinar, Yusuf Dinçel presented his book of the same title. In his presentation, Dinçel explained the differences between the terms Nestorian, Syriac, and Assyrian, and gave information about the geography that Nestorians lived and their lives in Ottoman Empire. He explained the Nestorians’ relations with missionaries during their activities in Anatolia and with the British during the period leading up to the World War One.
