A delegation from Turkish Center for Eurasian Studies (AVIM) led by its Director, Ambassador Alev Kilic, visited the ECO Secretariat and met with the ECO Secretary General H.E. Halil Ibrahim Akca and other ECO officials. In the meeting with the ECO Secretary General, Ambassador Kilic gave an overview of AVIM studies and activities which are relevant to ECO Region. AVIM Director also shared his views on the emerging environment in the region which enables ECO to play bigger role in the interests of the Member States. He expressed readiness to have research cooperation with ECO on issues of interest. He also invited the ECO Secretary General to visit AVIM and give a keynote speech on the ECO and its profile to a relevant audience.
