Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has reiterated the “historic” outcome of the June 7 parliamentary elections, saying that it redefines the functional significance of the Republic of Armenia.

“On June 7, 2026, the people of the Republic of Armenia voted in favor of the ideology of ‘Real Armenia.’ The outcome of these elections is historic because it redefines the functional significance of the Republic of Armenia,” Pashinyan said while presenting the government program in parliament.

According to him, the ideology of “Real Armenia” records that the sole functional significance of the Republic of Armenia is to ensure peace, freedom, security and well-being for its citizens within its internationally recognized territory of 29,743 square kilometers, to create an environment and ecosystem for the happiness of its citizens, and to preserve and develop the identity of the people.
