A freight train carrying Russian grain to Armenia departed today from the Bilajari Railway Station, operated by Azerbaijan Railways, AzerNEWS reports.

The train consists of five wagons transporting a total of 349 tons of grain. From Bilajari, it will pass through Boyuk Kesik Railway Station to Georgia, before continuing its journey to Armenia.

Since the start of the transit arrangement, 23,500 tons of Russian grain, over 1,000 tons of fertilizer, and 68 tons of buckwheat have been delivered to Armenia via Azerbaijan.
