The Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to Libya, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, and the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Libyan Government of National Unity, Taher Al-Baour, stressed on Wednesday the need to unify efforts to support stability and enhance security in the region.

A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that "the Chargé d'Affaires of the Embassy of the Republic of Iraq to Libya, Ahmed Al-Sahhaf, met with Taher Al-Baour, the Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Libyan Government of National Unity, in the capital, Tripoli."
