Trade, river and Rohingya issues are on the agenda as Bangladesh transitional government head Muhammad Yunus initiated a four-day visit to China on Wednesday.

Yunus will have a meeting with President Xi Jinping, as well as with the CEOs of major Chinese business corporations since he has taken the first bilateral visit since he took office last August.

“Through this visit, our two countries' relationship will become even closer,” Yunus said in an address to the nation on Tuesday.
