The Secretary General of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) made an address on the occasion of the New Year, calling 2024 a historic year for the Turkic World.

The year was marked by the 15th anniversary of the OTS, an informal summit in Shusha and the 11th Summit in Bishkek, where the new flag of the organization was approved as a symbol of unity and cooperation.

Among the achievements of the year is the increase in trade turnover between member countries by 24%, the development of digital and environmental initiatives, the establishment of the Council of Central Banks and improved transport connectivity.
