Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has expressed gratitude to Azerbaijan for its continued humanitarian and energy assistance to Ukraine during a meeting in Kyiv with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov.

Zelenskyy shared details of the meeting on X, emphasizing that Bayramov's visit marked the Azerbaijani foreign minister's first trip to Ukraine since the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, The Caspian Post reports.

"I received Azerbaijan’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Jeyhun Bayramov. This is the Minister’s first visit to Ukraine since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion. He began his visit in Irpin, where he visited a school, a hospital, and a rehabilitation center supported by Azerbaijan. We are very grateful that, during these difficult days for our country and our people, you found an opportunity to come and support us. Thank you for your solidarity with our people," the president wrote.
