Member of the Advisory Board of AVİM, (R) Ambassador Candan AZER passed away on 6 October 2014. Ambassador Azer was most recently the main speaker of the “Caucasia and Azerbaijan” meeting that was held on 27 March 2014 and jointly organized by Bahçeşehir University's Center for International Leadership and Research and by Center for Eurasian Studies (AVİM). He was also the author of the book Babadan Oğula Güney Kafkasya (From Father to Son, Southern Caucasia). As members of AVİM, we bow down with respect to the memory of (R) Ambassador Azer and give our condolences to his family, friends, and loved ones.
